Maryborough's Library at 127-129 Bazaar Street, has more than 80,000 items available for loan, free of charge for permanent residents and ratepayers.

If offers a comprehensive collection of adult and children's books, DVDs, books and music on CD, videos and magazines.  Other services include storytelling sessions, book clubs,  free classes in internet usage, internet services, book and board game clubs and delivery to housebound residents.

Regional Borrowing Benefits

Maryborough library members may borrow books from Hervey Bay, Tiaro, Howard and Burrum Heads libraries and vice versa. Free membership of all five libraries will be available to permanent residents, ratepayers, and students within the area covered by the Fraser Coast Regional Council.

Hervey Bay Library is a joint use library with USQ, Fraser Coast campus. This partnership gives members of the Fraser Coast Libraries access to a range of academic resources - click here for more information on Hervey Bay libraries.

Information on the number of books and other items that can be borrowed at one time, fees, reservations, opening times, renewals and members’ responsibilities is available from all the Fraser Coast Libraries.
